Yīng Dù Tiān Huà Fú Chĕn Pŭ Gào Sān Jiè Bā Jí Yún Yíng Kūn Lún

Drifting along [beyond] what is known as the Three Borders
(San Jie - Past, Present, and Future Existences),
to [go past] the Four Points of the compass and their halves (Ba Ji).
Into the clouds then, seeking the spot on Mount Kun Lun

Yáo Què Guǎng Yĕ Hán Jiōng Wŭ Fāng Xuán Yuè Sì Jí Zhēn Gōng Jiŭ Yuán
where there is the Precious Jade Imperial Palace with its Watchtowers (Yao Que).
Vast and rough is the surrounding open country,
trembling with cold and fear, even though bolted shut
are the Five Sacred Places (Wu Fang),
those dark and profound peaks of the five sacred mountains
located at the four extremities.
It is true that there are made public the Nine Fundamentals (Jiu Yuan)

Dà Xiàn Huà Jiàn Yù Wén Jí Chú Gù Qì Qīng Zhèng Shēng Gēn Bù Dé

by the Highest Authorities (Da Xian), regarding Transformation (Hua)
referring to the Jade Writings (Yu Wen) so that sickness
and pain can be gotten rid of.
Therefore, when the Qi is settled and unmixed (Qing),
during the first lunar month, it can take root,
and since it cannot be detained

Shàng Hé Xiān Zhēn Chì Fú Dān Guāng Shí Kè Fēi Shēng Bĕi Dū Liù Dòng
Pŭ Shè Yōu Hún Zhì Mó Bǎo Jŭ Dù Pǐn Zhū Líng Sǐ Hún
it then allows one to rise up in an agreeable [manner]
as a Fairy (Xian).
So truly the Red Charm (Chi Fu) and the Cinnabar's Bright Ray
(Dan Guang) Map can cause constant ascending to Heaven.
At the Northern Capital (Bei Du) are the Six Holes (Liu Dong)
that bring about Universal Forgiveness (Pu She) so that
the Tranquil Vital Spirit (You Hun) can be used to restrict
and control demons and monsters.
Recommended for promotion to the [utmost] limits,
[beyond even] that of the grade required
at the Vermilion Imperial Mausoleum (Zhu Ling),
a dead [Person's] Superior Vital Spirit (Si Hun)
