Qiān Tōng Mì Shòu Zǐ Shū Shàng Wéi Zhēn Zǎi Shén Wáng Xià Guān
Shàng Dì Yáo Chàng
[Meanwhile,] a thousand experts [after] scrutinizing meticulously its secrecy
began teaching the Purple Book (Zi Shu).
Up above, this was heard,so that God the Divine King looked down below.
Next, this Supreme God, though distant and remote,
began singing and calling out to

Wàn Shén Cháo Lǐ Sān Jiè Shì Xuān Qún Yào Shù Shŏu Guǐ Jīng Zì
Wáng Lín Láng
the Ten Thousand Divine Spirits to hold a court ceremony
at the 'Three Borders' (of past, present, and future existence).
Attending in a small room crowded with supernaturalities
they bound up the leader of the ghosts, and through the extracting
of their life-force the [ghosts] soon perished, giving up the Beautiful Jade.

Zhèn Xiǎng Shí Fāng Sù Qīng Hé Hǎi Jìng Mò Shān Yuè Tūn Yān Wàn
Líng Zhèn Fú Zhāo Qún Xiān
After this, flapping and rising up with great force and sound
[they spread throughout] the 'Ten Directions' (East South West North
East-North East-South West-South West-North Upwards and Downwards)
to eradicate [problems at] the Rivers and Seas.
[Stopping at] Jing Mo Mountain ('Calm-silent' Mountain
(one of the Five Sacred Peaks)), they swallowed down its smoke.
The Ten Thousand Marvellous Spirits[once again began to] shake and flap,
rising up with force and energy.
[Soon] subsiding, [they then] by beckoning and calling,
collect together into a group [all of the] Fairies.

Tiān Wú Fēn Huì Dì Wú Yào Chén Míng Huì Dòng Qīng Dà Liáng
Xuán Xuán Yĕ
[Because of this] Heaven is without an atmosphere of miasmic abomination.
Earth is without supernatural events of dust and dirt.
The Nether World is bright and intelligent.
The Cavity is thoroughly settled and clear.
Broadminded and profound, is this not?
