and proclaims various Phenomenon as being such [things] as 'Good or Evil',
determining how they are connected to each other.

Qīng Tiān Mó Wáng Jīng Jīng Yù Luó Chì Tiān Mó Wáng
The Cerulian Heaven Demon King (Qing Tian Mo Wang)
produces brilliant crystals that are luxuriantly spread out.
The Red Heaven Demon King (Chi Tian Mo Wang) [is called that]

Míng Yào Jiàng Xiá Bái Tiān Mó Wáng Jīn Zhēn Bǎo Huá Hēi Tiān Mó Wáng
[for causing] the brilliant and clearly illuminated deep-red clouds and sky.
The Daytime Demon King (Bai Tian Mo Wang) produces a golden [glow]
that truly protects and preserves the Flower [that is China].
The Night Time Demon King (Hei Tian Mo Wang)

Gŭ Huà Xuán Bō Huáng Tiān Mó Wáng Ān Zhèn Suì Ē Wŭ Tiān Dà Mó Wàn Shén Zhī
blows as with a bellows to stir up and swell,
transforming Dark Profundity (Xuan) into flowing wave-like.
The Yellow Heaven Demon King (Huang Tian Mo Wang) installs Peace
and suppresses Ghosts and their influences,
while also pandering to all the whims of the Five Heavens.
The Great Demon (Da Mo) along with the Ten Thousand Divine Spirits (Wan Shen) who

Zōng Fēi Xíng Gŭ Cóng Zŏng Lǐng Tiān Bīng Chí Chuáng Zhàng Jié Yóu Guān
the Ancestors (Zong) fly around, rousing up those who
follow the chief in control of the Heavenly Army.
Grasping the Pennants, and holding their weapons,
the [others] gather together, rambling about and observing
