Shén Zhōng Yŏu Yù Fú Shè Qì Zhī Zhēn Zhōng Yŏu Dà Dān Liú Yàn
the Divine God of the Center uses the Jade Charm (Yu Fu)
to help conserve the Qi.
When it is thus used it is true that the Center has a great red
circulating, blazing flame.

Jūn Zhōng Yŏu Yán Guāng Kāi Huà Zhàng Rén Zhōng Yŏu Tài Yī Rù
Chán Huáng Tīng Fèng
For the Sovereign of the Center has to deal with those
burning hot brilliant rays (Yan Guang).
Moving outward, this is converted by the Father-in-Law (Zhang Ren),
He of the Center is the Greatest-Of-All (Tai Yi)
those admitted through the dealings
of the Yellow Court (Huang Ting- the Eyes).
The Male Phoenix (Feng)

Niŭ Hùn Hé Dà Dòng Gāo Zūn Tŏng Yù Xuán Biàn Qīng Dū Huà Shēn
is the bond that ties things together.
It mixes and mingles in the Great Cavity (Da Dong)
with the Great-Venerable (Gao Zun), all of them gathered together,
driven in an imperial carriage.
The Dark and Profound (Xuan) Varies and Transforms (Bian)
it clarifies and becomes Incarnate (Hua Shen) at the Capital.

Jīn Piān Xiāo Mó Guǎng Dà Fēi Lún Sān Shí Jiŭ Dì Kuò Kāi Bā Mén Jīn Rì
Fū Jiāo Wàn Zhēn Lín Xuān
The Golden Section (Jin Pian) dispels demons and monsters
on an extensive scale.
Flying and hovering about as if they were [on] wheels turning,
the thiry-nine Supreme Beings (each having the level of Emperor)
hold wide open the Eight Gates.
At this present time There is spread out these Teachings (Jiao)
amongst the Myriad.
The genuine thing is duplicated in various
small rooms with windows [that are said] to overlook
