Dào Yán Xíng Dào Zhī Rì Jiē Dāng Xiāng Tāng Mù Yù Zhāi Rù Shì Dōng
Xiàng Xuān Chǐ
Daoist Doctrine states that the Current procedure is to every day draw
scented hot water to immerse oneself in and bathe [thoroughly].
[Observing the rules of] fast and abstinence, entering into a room
and face oneself in an eastern direction.
One is to then Kowtow, while simultaneously making inquiry
and mentioning the

Sān Shí Èr Tōng Shàng Wén Sān Shí Èr Tiān Xīn Bài
the Thirty-Two Transmissions of Superior (Heavenly) Tidings (Shang Wen).
Thirty-two [times these are directed to the] Divine Will
in acknowledgement and obeisance.

Sān Shí Èr Guò Bì Mù Jìng Sī Shēn Zuò Qīng Huáng Bái Sān Sè Yún Qì Zhī
Thirty-two times one is to shut the eyes,
and calmly deliberate upon one's body, character, and conduct
while sitting [still].
Cerulean, Yellow, and White are the three colors of the clouds
of the Air (Qi)

Zhōng Nèi Wài Wĕng Míng Yŏu Qīng Lóng Bái Hŭ Zhū Què Xuán Wŭ Shī

arranged in that order from left to right.
The Sun and the Moon illuminate the Cavity thoroughly
so that [within] the shining interior area
