There is a limit set on the mass of the people with regards
to the constraints of Life and Death (Sheng Si), and their endurance
to such things.
Instead they [naturally] rely on their own happiness and good fortune.
This ability allows for hardship and disaster to be overcome,
so for these things this is superb.
Therefore they named this Boundless and Immeasurable to
Relieve Souls Out of Purgatory (Wu Liang Pu Du).
The process of Nature and Man that can eventually lead
to Celestial Beinghood (Tian Ren).
Dào Yán Fán Yŏu Shì Jīng Néng Wéi Tiān Dì Dì Zhŭ Zhào Mín Xíng Shì
Gōng Dé Yŏu Zāi Zhì Rī Fā Xīn Xiū Zhāi Shāo Xiāng Sòng Jīng Shí Guò
Daoist Doctrine states that those of us in this Mortal World (Fan),
all possess these things the Scriptures (Jing) describe,
because Heaven and Earth (Tian Di) has a Supreme Being (Di) who is
the Monarch (Zhi) who is Master over it all.
The Signs and Omens Portend (Zhao) to the people
how this things will carry out.
Therefore, it is correct that Merits (Gong De) exist regarding
such times that the Mind and Feelings (Xin) are to be directed
toward study and fasting, burning the joss sticks.
It is then that Chanting the Liturgies (Song Jing) of the
Ten Deviations (Shi Guo), and [paying attention] the Natural Vitality (Shen Qi)
needs to be done.
