Dé Shēng Suŏ Yǐ Ĕr Zhĕ Xúe Shì Huì Qì Wèi Xiāo Tǐ Wèi Dòng Zhēn Zhào Zhì
yet still regain life.
Therefore, this is what needs to be studied by learned scholars.
For the Filthy and Foul Qi (Hui Qi)has not yet been eliminated from the body.
Neither not yet has the Cavern of Perfection (Dong Zhen- corresponds to the
Highest Clarity Tradition) been summoned to bring control through use of
Shí Fāng Wēi Wèi Zhì Tiān Zhèng Dé Kĕ Fú Yù Dì Qí Shù Fú Mó Líng

the 'Ten Directions' (Shi Fang- East South West North East-North
East-South West-South West-North Upwards and Downwards),
and it impressive power, but had not [yet] worked out the system
of Heavenly Government (Tian Zheng) and its administrations.
Still, with virtue and kindness shown, it is possible to
prostrate before the Emperor, the Earth God (Di Qi)
who fetters the Demon's magic power.
However, it is a matter of fact that that which is dead,
Sǐ Ér Yǐ Bù Néng Gèng Shēng Qīng Sòng Cǐ Zhāng Shēn Zé Bèi Yāng Gōng
Yǎng Zūn Lǐ Mén Hù Xīng Lóng Shì Shì
when all is said and done, must not be allowed to regenerate or revive.
But by softly reciting these sections and their rules
the [human] body [can be restored].
Therefore, it was the norm whenever misfortune or calamity happened,
to make offerings and venerate with [elaborate] ceremony and gifts to the sect.
It was a brisk and thriving [business].
So for generation after generation [the sect]
Chāng Chì Yŭ Shàn Yīn Yuán Wàn Zāi Bù
it flourished and things remained prosperous.
Along with the goodness brought on by The Cause Which Produces Effects In
Another Stage of Existence (Yin Yuan),
the myriad calamities [also] become not.
Qiān Shén Míng Hù Mén Sī Jīng Zūn Miào Dú Bŭ Yù Jīng Dù Rén
With a thousand gods guarding the Gate,
these Scriptures venerate the [process being so] wonderful and clever,
that only a single step is needed to [enter] the Jade Capital.
