Shŭ Zhòng Jù Rù Fú Jǐng Zhī
Numerous crowds all entered in,
joining with the floating Scene (Jing) at
Zhōng Tiān Rén Yǎng Kàn Wéi Jiàn Bó Bó Cóng Xū Kōng Zhōng Rù
Jì Rù Kōng Nèi Bù Zhī Suŏ
the Center.
Celestial Beings (Tian Ren) with faces
turned upward in respect tend after it.
With thoughts and opinions of exuberance
coming from the Emptiness (Kong) of the sky to enter into this,
as well as then entering into the Emptiness Within (Kong Nei),
having no knowledge of the place that is there.
Zài Guŏ Rén Kuò Sàn Dì Huán Píng Zhèng
Existing amonst one's fellow countrymen,
while scattering widely to carry out distribution
all over the Earth (Di), having the means
that allow for a return to Peacefulness (Ping).
The first month of the lunar year,
Wú Fù Yī Xiàn Yuán Shǐ Jí Yú
one does not allow it to go back!
Sinking down into the Prime Origin (Yuan Shi),
but instead use the means
Fēi Yún Fú Jǐng Zhī Shàng Shuō Jīng Dū Jìng Zhòng Zhēn Jiān Dù Yǐ
Shòu Yú Wŏ Dāng Cǐ Zhī Shí
to Fly swiftly up to clouds
and from their surface view the Scene (Jing) from above.
As for stating the scriptures at the Capital, to sum up how many,
though clearly tasked with having imperial office,
do still take the time to supervise and instruct us
in the suitability of these days and seasons
Xǐ Qìng Nán Yán
to be connected with jubliance and happy events,
it is difficult to say.
Fǎ Shì Cū Xí Zhū Tiān Fù Wèi Shù Yán Zhī Jiān Jì Wú Yí Xiǎng
[Unlike] the Legalists with their rough and careless knowledge of Heaven (Zhu Tian),
[instead] return to that location like rapidly rising sparks from an agitated fire.
And like those spaces between (one likewise must) use
a room allowing only complete silence.
