in the auspicious smoke of a luxuriant haze are these Divine Spirits(Shen Ling),
at first deep and silent like a beautiful jade,
they then flap and rise up with great force and sound

going out in all the Ten Directions (East South West North East-North

beyond the Rivers and Seas at Calm-Silent Mountain (Jing Mo Shan - one of the Five Sacred Peaks)
to swallow down the Smoke.
The ten thousand marvellous spirits shake and flap, rising up with force and energy
[Soon] subsiding, [they then] by beckoning and calling,
collect together into a group all of the Fairies.
Then Heaven is without an atmosphere of miasmic abomination

Dì Wú Yào Chén Míng Huì
and the Earth is without supernatural events of dust and dirt.
The Nether World is bright and intelligent.
