Rì Sòng Yŏng Shì Jīng Dé Wéi Nán Gōng Liè Xiān Bĕn Mìng Zhī Rì Sòng Yŏng
Shì Jīng Chāo Líng Sān Jiè Shēng Rù Jīn Mén Bù Jīng Kŭ Nǎo Shēn Yŏu
in the daily recitation of these scriptures.
The result is at the Southern Palace are lined up the Fairies,
there is where is also the Root of Life and Fate (Ben Ming).
Daily reading aloud, reciting these Scriptures, and thereby avoiding the Three Borders
(Past, Present, and Future Existences) to rise up,
and thereby enter in through the Golden Gate (Jin Men)
without having to pass through trouble or distress to the body.

Guāng Míng Sān Jiè Shì Wèi Wŭ Dì Sī Yíng Wàn Shén Cháo Lǐ Míng Shū
Shàng Tiān Gōng Mǎn Dé Jiú Fēi Shēng Shàng Qīng
Pure-minded, [passing beyond] the Three Borders (San Jie- Past, Present,
and Future Existences), one meets the Imperial Bodyguard (Shi Wei)
of the Five Emperors of Old (Wu Di) department to welcome and meet face-to-face
the Myriad Divine Spirits at a court ceremony.
The name given to this volume is 'Heaven-Going Achievement' (Shang Tian Gong),
and it is filled with the virtue needed to accomplish
Ascending to Heaven (Fei Sheng),
in the Highest Clarity (Shang Qing) tradition,

Dào Yán Xíng Dào Zhī Rì Jiē Dāng Xiāng Tāng Mù Yù Zhāi Jiè Rù Shì
Daoist Doctrine states that the current procedure is for each and every day
to draw scented hot water to immerse oneself in,
bathing [thoroughly] and at all times
[observe the rules of] fast and abstinence.
