Tiān Xià Guān Shàng Dì Yáo Chàng Wàn Shén Cháo Lǐ
in the Heavens above the land below,
there can be observed the spectacle of the Supreme God, distant and remote,
to begin singing and calling out to the Ten Thousand Divine Spirits,
holding a court ceremony

Sān Jiè Shì Xuān Qún Yào Shù Shŏu Guǐ Jīng Zì Wáng Lín Láng
at the 'Three Borders' (of past, present, and future existence).
Attending a small room crowded with supernaturalities,
they bind up the leader of the ghosts,
and by extracting their life-force these perish,
giving up the Beautiful Jade.

Zhèn Xiǎng Shí Fāng Sù Qīng Hé Hǎi Jìng Mò Shān Yuè
Flapping and rising up with great force and sound [they spread throughout]
the 'Ten Directions' (East South West North East-North East-South
West-South West-North Upwards and Downwards) to Eradicate the Rivers and Seas,
along with Jing Mo Mountain ('Calm-silent' Mountain (one of the Five Sacred Peaks)).

Tūn Yān Wàn Líng Zhèn Fú Zhāo Jí Qún Xiān Tiān Wú Fēn Huì Dì Wú Yào Chén
Míng Huì Dòng Qīng Tài Liáng Xuán Xuán Yĕ
Swallow down the Smoke.
The Ten Thousand Marvellous Spirits shake and flap,
rising up with force and energy.
[Soon] subsiding, [they then] by beckoning and calling collect together into a group.
Heaven is without any atmosphere of miasmic abomination.
Earth is without any supernatural events of dust and dirt.
The Nether World is bright and intelligent.
The Cavity is thoroughly settled and clear.
Broadminded and profound, is this not?
