Daoist Doctrine states that in former times there was initially only Cerulean Heaven
(Qing Tian) and that it had at its center, purple clouds in Emptiness (Kong).

Gē Tài Jí Xuán Tŭ Shŏu Yuàn Shǐ Dù Rén Shēng Huà Tāi Gēn Duàn Chú Xié Hùi Wú Liáng Shàng Pǐn
Singing about the Grand Ultimate (Tai Ji) and Dark Mystery (Xuan) of the Earth (Tu), one receives initiation in 'Primal-Heaven's Salvation' concerning;
'Initial Life-Transformation Foetal-Root to Get Rid of Perverse and Dirty Qualities'.
This is at the Boundless Highest Level,

Yuán Shǐ Tiān Zūn Dāng Shuō Shì Jīng Zhōu Huí Shí Guò Yǐ Zhào Shí Fāng Shǐ Dāng
which is that of Primal Heaven Venerable-Worthy (Yuan Shi Tian Zun)
Therefore it is suitable to explain the theory [behind] these Scriptures,
reverting back to and help explain the information given in the Ten Deviations (Shi Guo)
in order to Summon the 'Ten Directions'
(East South West North East-North East-South West-South West-North Upwards and Downwards).
